Opening on Thursday 7th November is The Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair I am delighted to have my work “The United Kingdom” selected for this show. WCPF is the only fair in London to deal solely in contemporary printmaking, and is the largest of its kind in the UK, set in the impressive former cartridge factory at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. With over 500 specialist artists and exhibitors, WCPF celebrates every aspect of printmaking – from etching and lithography, to woodblock and screen-printing, exciting emerging talent sits alongside established practitioners such as Grayson Perry, Tracey Emin and Norman Ackroyd RA.
“The United Kingdom” depicts the new English and Scottish polymer notes and was the first time I was able to make a map of the UK with an all female line up that wasn’t just the Queen! I am really looking forward to seeing this show and have a limited number of free tickets so if you would like to bags one and see it too let me know. It’s first come, first served, so don’t miss out.
