Pataka Museum of Arts and Culture, Porirua, New Zealand. 25th February – 23rd June 2012.
The Art of Money features work by a group of international artists making working with banknotes, employing collage, sculpture, origami and other processes. It is running concurrently with “Money Talks” which is an exhibition exploring the history of world banknotes. On show will be “Specimen V Libya”, which has been kindly loaned to them by the Galila Barzilai Hollander Collection, and I am also delighted that the musem has also acquired a print of the Money Map of Africa, which will form part of it’s permanent collection once the exhibiion finishes.
